Fall Photography Hike

November 3, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am

Are you interested in capturing the perfect fall picture? Join COL and Heart of the Lakes Multimedia Specialist, Deke Ludwig, on a Nature Photography Hike through Jens Jensen Preserve! Deke travels throughout the state of Michigan to land conservancies and helps tell their stories through pictures and videos. He has captured some of the most beautiful places in Michigan and the world. Deke will share his expertise on how to capture the best nature shots, tell us about his photography, and what it is like to be a local photographer. We will walk, talk, and take pictures throughout Jens Jensen Preserve to try and capture the perfect shot!

Heart of the Lakes strengthens the collective efforts of organizations dedicated to the conservation of Michigan’s environmentally and economically significant land and water. They provide leadership, innovative ideas, and advocate for smart public policy for the benefit of our communities and for generations to come.

What to bring: Your own camera for picture taking, comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and your artistic eye!

RSVP: This is a free program, but space is limited. Please contact Casey Struecker at (269) 405-1006 or cstruecker@chikamingopenlands.org to reserve your spot.
