Munchin' on the Preserve: Water Quality in Michigan

July 18, 2018 from 11:00am to Noon

Wednesday, July 18 at 11:00 AM

Join COL for a summer lunch and learn series, Munchin' on the Preserve. One Wednesday each month during the summer join us outside at the covered picnic area at Chikaming Township Park and Preserve to learn about different and important conservation topics!

Join Erik Elgin the Water Resource Educator from Michigan State University Extension as he talks about water quality in our wetlands, lakes and rivers throughout Michigan. He will also  demonstrate how to properly monitor and protect our local waterways. Along the way he will talk about what types of animals and plants lurk beneath the waters surface and how they are important to our aquatic wildlife habitats.
