Dune Walk with Preserve the Dunes at Warren Dunes State Park

September 14, 2019 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Enjoy an afternoon with Preserve the Dunes and COL as we explore the world of sand dune ecosystems and their special ecology. COL's Executive Director, Ryan Postema, will guide us through Warren Dunes State Park as he talks about how the dunes were formed, why they are unique to our area, native flora and fauna, and the threats that invasive species cause to these fragile habitats.

Warren Dunes State Park is a 1,952 acre state park that offers a bounty of beautiful scenery and an array of different activities. The park is home to 3 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, 6 miles of hiking trails and camping.

Open to the public, bring the entire family!

Where to meet? Please meet at the Floral Lane entrance located at 5301 Floral Lane, Bridgman, MI 49106, north of the main entrance.
